OT Play is a mobile therapy service directed by children’s occupational therapist Charlotte O’Reilly. Therapy is delivered in both group and individual settings. OT Play provides services to children with difficulties accessing daily activities that are important to them. This can be due to learning disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and sensory processing difficulties or physical difficulties such as cerebral palsy and dyspraxia.
OT Play now supports over 75 families to access group and individual activities whilst progressing through their therapeutic targets. A child recently described a group session as “that was Epic,” (age 9).
A parent reported that “When OT Play is here, they are here wholeheartedly.” We are so grateful to the support and encouragement from families and parents and most importantly the children. We believe that all children have the right to do, belong and achieve and that is why we strive to help every child to make progress through play.
